Guest Blogger: Model Ana Garcia

I haven't worked with any guest bloggers; so I'm happy plus size model Ana Garcia is the first guest blogger for Ruby Leonne. Ana was introduced to me by her mom, Marta on Facebook. You gotta love Facebook for networking! Ana wanted to share her experience at the Curvy Revolution conference in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. We are delighted and thankful to get a sneak peak at her weekend in Vegas.

Hi! My name is Ana Garcia; aspiring Plus Model from Puerto Rico. I modeled at The Curvy Revolution in Las Vegas. I am going to share my experience with you!

Ana modeling for Curves

I arrived at Las Vegas on February 15, 2011. It was a very long trip from Puerto Rico.  The next day, I had my orientation at Planet Hollywood  where I met the staff and the models. They were all sweet and supportive of each other. On February 17, we had fittings and rehearsals. It was a long day, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

On February 18, I woke up early because I had a photo shoot with Michelle Alexandra, Rosie Mercado and Tina Sanchez. It was amazing. They are the dream team. One of the best experiences of my life. I left and went back to Planet Hollywood for some more fittings. Hectic Day!

Later at the after party, I met Madeline Jones editor of Plus Model Magazine. I also met some other famous models. We chatted for a while and found them to be very nice. I took a plane back home to Puerto Rico on Monday. It was like a dream come true. I can’t wait to do it again.

Love,
Ana
